Where to Eat in Hilton Head, SC

Going to Hilton Head, SC anytime soon and looking for some great places to eat? Look no further! I’ll be sharing exactly what I ordered with a small description if necessary to help you out. Also, if you ever see on a menu the shrimp and grits embrace the low country life and order it. I promise you won’t regret it. If you’re looking for more activities to do head over to my post “What to do in Hilton Head, SC“.

Chow Daddy’s

Chow Daddy’s was one of the best restaurants we ate at during our whole trip. I got the fried chicken tacos (definitely recommend if you’re not sure what else to get). If you like spicy food keep the sriracha aioli sauce on top and get some on the side.

Hilton Head Distillery

Hilton Head Distillery has 3 options for tasting. Option A consists of 4 neat alcohol samples and 1 cocktail. Option B is 2 neat and 2 cocktails. Option C is 3 cocktail samples. I chose Option B with espresso rum (my favorite), redlock spiced rum (Zach’s favorite), a bloody mary (the best), and a lowcountry mule.

Old Oyster Factory

A delicious seafood restaurant. I ordered the seafood pasta (seen below) with shrimp and scallops. Zach got the seafood platter filled with mac and cheese, vegetables, and a variety of oysters (this was both of our favorites).

Watusi Cafe

If you’re looking for a place to brunch look no further! The cutest coffee cafe with hilarious slogans on the walls. They have a variety of eggs benedict. I ordered the potato cake benedict which consists of 2 potato pancakes topped with ham, spinach, tomato, poached eggs and hollandaise. Since this was also a coffee bar I had to spice up my coffee. I ordered a hazelnut latte (which was exquisite).

Hilton Head Social Bakery

This bakery has a wide array of different desserts. My absolute favorite (& 100% recommend)? Kiss on the Beach, no doubt about it (seen below). A hazelnut macaron with chocolate mousse and raspberry mousse.
