Thinking about taking a trip to Canada this winter? I’m the kind of traveler that I want to see the country I’m going to in the weather it’s known for, then maybe if I can make a trip back I’ll go during another season! One thing I’ve always associated with Canada…COLD!
I’m a total baby when it comes to the cold. I’ve never lived in a constantly cold country and whenever I went to participate in winter activities it was always for a short period of time. Thus, a trip to Canada in January made me a bit nervous.
The first thing I did was make a list of cold weather gear I would need to keep warm. Then I found colors that would go together and voila I was all packed! I’ll share my list below with you in case you’re thinking of a cold weather trip! The biggest trick is to dress in layers so you have a lot of warm air around you.
- Hats
- Scarves
- Gloves
- Long Johns
- Sweaters
- Vests
- Thick Jacket (I brought a skiing jacket)
- Pants
- Multiple socks & Thick socks
- Boots
If I’ve forgotten something that you’ve found useful in cold weather let me know below!
Love,
Lo
